I’m heading out on a big hike, Rogue River Trail (40 miles) then sections of the Oregon and California coastal trails. Will take close to a month altogether. I will not have access to internet for most of it so do not plan to post updates.
But more at some point, as the world does its thing.

This trip was amazing. The Rogue River, the Redwood Coast part of the Cailfornia Coastal Trail, and the entire Lost Coast Trail (plus some public transit and old-fasioned hitchhiking to connect segments and then get out of Fort Bragg, CA at the end.) Unfortunately I digitally lost all the photos I took, but truth is the trip was about personal reflection and discernment, so showcasing it was not the point. I did journal though, and made a few sketches, and someday I may make a ‘zine of this “Lost Trip” of Traveling Dan’s.
